2026–27 season · November 15, 2026 to April 15, 2027

Prices

Three laneway sizes, a price for each, fixed for the season, plus HST. Measure from the road to where you park and you'll know your price before we talk.

Per plow

Each visit counts as one plow. In a long storm I plow during it and again when it stops, so a big storm is usually two plows. I email one invoice on the 1st of each month, due in 15 days.

If I haven't serviced your property before, estate laneways are quoted after the walkthrough.

Season Plan

Every 5 cm plow from November 15, 2026 to April 15, 2027 for one fixed price, however much it snows. Simple split payments: half when the agreement is signed and half on January 15, and paying in full at signing is welcome. Extra visits you ask for are at your per-plow rate; I email one invoice on the 1st of each month, due in 15 days, if anything needs to be billed. It's a price for the whole season, light winter or heavy, so the second half is due even in a light one; if something changes for you, talk to me and we'll work out what's fair.

Standard$1,795half at signing, half Jan 15, + HST
Long$2,375half at signing, half Jan 15, + HST
Estatefrom $2,945half at signing, half Jan 15, + HST

A straight word on the math: each Season Plan is priced at about 19 plows. That's how the price is set, not a limit: the plan covers every 5 cm plow, however many there are. Most winters, a laneway here is plowed somewhere between 15 and 22 times. In an average winter, paying per plow usually comes out about even with the Season Plan or a little higher; in a heavy winter, the Season Plan comes out much farther ahead. What you're buying is one known price before the first flake. If you'd rather pay for exactly what falls, pay per plow; the service is the same.

An estimate: your price is confirmed at the walkthrough.

How to measure your laneway

  1. Open Google Maps and find your property.
  2. On a computer, right-click where your laneway meets the road and choose Measure distance. On a phone, press and hold to drop a pin, tap the pin, then choose Measure distance.
  3. Click along the laneway to where you park. The total shows in feet or metres, depending on your settings; either is fine.

Three feet is about one long stride. If you'd rather not measure, tell me the road and I'll measure it before I come.

What's included at every price

  • Plowing at 5 cm and again after a long storm
  • A free return if the township windrow blocks you within 12 hours
